As reported on Fox 13 in Salt Lake City this past weekend, More than
340 people were on hand at the Mountain Dell Golf Course in Salt Lake City
to set the world record for most snowmen built in an hour.
CLEARLINK invited employees, families, and locals to come out Saturday
afternoon to attempt the record. They had to build at least 1,000 4-foot tall
snowmen in one hour. Each snowman had to be dressed in a carrot nose and
Oreo cookie eyes.
The group successfully built 1,279 snowmen in 60 minutes, setting the world record.
CLEARLINK will be donating $2 per snowman to Youth Making a Difference,
a Salt Lake-based non-profit organization who develops responsible leaders
through year-long leadership training including a two-week humanitarian
expedition in a developing country.
